Multi-instrumentalist musician Aktaş Erdoğan was born in 1987 into a journalist family in Rotterdam.

He studied at Royal Conservatory of The Hague. During his studies, he won the Best Dutch Guitarist Prize at Twents Gitaar Festival. He was also one of the winners at Istanbul Classical Guitar Festival. His first classical music album ‘Dreamers of Dream’ released in 2015.

He started a campaign for his life sentenced journalist mother who was a prisoner in Turkey. He became the voice of his mother (Füsun Erdoğan) outside and created awareness in the media. The campaign was successfully ended with his mother’s freedom.

Erdoğan performed and toured with different projects and artists in 2017 such as Holon Women’s Festival (Israel), Melbourne Recital Center (Australia), Tanjazz Festival (Morroco), Kolkata Jazz Festival (India), Hyderabad Jazz Festival (India).
