Amnesty Reads is a book club and online platform where we will discuss human rights and other related topics by reading books. Every two months we will select a book with a theme related to
human rights violations, which the members can read on their own, or together with other groups
In collaboration with Amnesty Reads, the event will be interviewing a special guest, Ferdows Kazemi. Born in Iran, Ferdows came to the Netherlands in 1993 and studied General Social Sciences at the University of Utrecht. She lives in The Hague with her husband and daughter. She writes social and political columns.
We will discuss her book and her journey to the Netherlands.
